Had the opportunity to work with the guys from MMP back in 1999, namely Bruno, Jerome and Mathew. Though, at that time, Mathew was working for someone else with orphans in Mostar.
Nothing to add, they were simply doing the best job possible. Keep up doing what u'r doing.
I wonder where's Jerome...
P.s. a friend from Kosovo
As an example, we found it very compassionate for Mary Mother of Peace to continue to help the poor people stricken by a devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010. The project is called The Path to a Better Life. Working in partnership with the Fonkoze Foundation reliably present in the field, Mary Mother of Peace-Medjugorje Charity participates in their CLM program --Chemen Lavi Mayo, i.e. "on the Path to a Better Life" by assisting with the education of children and poverty alleviation of their families, especially mothers, to make them creditworthy for a micro finance program. This will help them develop revenue-earning activities, urban or rural. Each dollar spent is going a long way in Haiti; project is progressing well and is helping now 300 CLM children enrolled in school (200 in 2010), and their mothers are getting out of poverty. A reliable monitoring system and a strong local presence allow to properly controlling the use of funds disbursed locally through a special account managed by Fonkoze CLM Youth Fund. We are now gearing up to raise additional funding for the program. Budget is US$15,000 for two-years (2012-2013) for a total of about 1,000 target beneficiaries. Thank you for your help. MMP-MC is also helping wounded US service men and women in their transition into civilian life. God bless you all.
