Causes: Nonprofit Management
Mission: The manaus fund is committed to social justice issues, particularly as related to low-income populations. They work to build the capacity of communities to empower people to actively engage to achieve a more just society.
Programs: The valley settlement project (vsp) is a dual generation initiative to empower low-income parents economically and as advocates for their children, and to prepare children for school entry and success. The project was spun off as a separate nonprofit organization in 2016, however, some commitments remained with the manaus fund in 2017.
