Mission: The mission of the lycee francais de chicago is to educate children pre-kindergarten through 12th grade with a rigorous dual-language curriculum grounded in the french educational system, complemented by a strong american program and the international baccalaureate, within an engaged multicultural community that encourages students to become responsible global citizens.
Programs: Lycee francais de chicago is a private, not-for-profit, coeducational day school serving 763 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The lycee francais de chicago prepares students to be responsible global citizens by providing a dynamic dual language, bicultural education that focuses on excellence through the french national curriculum complemented by a strong english language arts and american studies program. Our multicultural, dual-language curriculum brings together the best of the french and american education systems. It not only enhances our students' interpersonal, communication, and academic skills, it also helps them distinguish themselves in an increasingly competitive world.
