Programs: Lutheran nursing & rehabilitation center (lutheran home at napoleon) is a not-for profit organization that provides residential care and supportive services for the elderly. As a faith-based provider of such service, lutheran home at napoleon continues to honor its mission to extend its services to the vulnerable of our population, specifically elderly. We demonstrate behaviors reflecting our core values of faithfulness to christ, equality and justice, wholeness of life, integrity, quaulity of service, and stewardship of resources. (see schedule o for additional information) lutheran nursing and rehabilitation center overview services provided through the skilled nursing care center include 24-hours skilled nursing care, intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy, rehabilitation and restorative programming, specialized dietary programming, diabetic management, dementia care and psychological services, pastoral care, planned activities, laundry and housekeeping, hospice and respite care, in-house podiatry, vision and dental services, pharmacy services, social services, and resident advocate. In 2010, lutheran nursing and rehabilitation center (lutheran home at napoleon) provided residential and supportive services for a total of 29,076 resident days. Lutheran home at napoleon provided 262,027 in charitable care in 2010 and provided an additional 594,465 in community benefit. These dollars include charity care for those who cannot pay and below-cost reimbursement from medicaid. Lutheran home at napoleon, as part of the many ministries of lutheran homes society, has always been an exemplary provider of compassionate, quality care to those we serve, but we are also committed to impoving and contributing to the community in which we live and work. In addition to the residents and clients served directly, a wide variety of broad community support activities contribute to the accomplishment of our tax-exempt purpose.
