Mission: To provide opportunities for low and moderate income people to secure decent affordable housing and to assure quantity, quality and affordability of housing for future low and moderate income individuals.
Programs: The sale of 17 homes to income eligible buyers. Conducted land trust home ownership training to 17 home buyers. Income certified 17 home buying households. Began the process of purchasing a townhome from homeowner to avoid foreclosure on this home, this will carry over into 2018 for cclt to purchase the home, make repairs and resell it to a new eligible buyer. Development of 11 additional townhomes to place in program continued through 2017, closings with eligible buyers will happen in 2018. Referral of two home owners to financial counseling due to their nonpayment of home owners association dues.
