Mission: Louisville wheels transportation, inc. Exists to serve as a resource for elderly and disabled people, providing transportation to medical appointments, senior centers, and other similar needs of its clients.
Programs: Providing transportation services to the elderly and disabled. - medicaid transportation service is provided (6) days per week mon-sat from 4:30am - 7:00 pm, medical transportation is provided to eligible medicaid recipients to various type medical appointments. Kipda (kentuckiana planning and development agency) - we provide nutrition and medical transportation for kipda throughout the seven county kipda area. Nutrition and medical transportation is provided mon-fri from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Ky transportation cabinet - transportation provided to elderly and disabled in rural counties of spencer, bullitt, shelby, oldham, trimble, and henry counties (6) days per week mon-sat from 7:00am - 6:00pm. Tri-county action agency - we contract with tri-county to provide center/nutrition transportation in henry and trimble county. We contract to provide medical transportation in oldham, henry and trimble county. Services are provided mon-fri from 8:00 am -6:00 pm. Metro government - we provide 5th day center/nutrition transportation to (12) sites throughout jefferson county and we provide disabled medical transportation. Services are provided mon-fri from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. We were contracted to provide more than 6,000 center/nutrition and more than 1,000 medical trips. Mental health transportation - provided for bridgehaven, inc. In all, during the year we made a total of 113,245 passenger trips, for a total of 1,473,728 miles.
