Mission: LSEF, founded in 1996, aims to strengthen the Sikh community in America by developing educational resources for Sikhs that better enable them to articulate their faith. LSEF also develops edcuational material about Sikhs for school systems and the population at large to provide accurate information about this important global community. LSEF manages the Lohgarh Retreat in Chambersburg, PA, founded in 1993, which is dedicated to empowering America's Sikh youth, and is the first Sikh youth focused institution in America.
