Staff persons in these businesses work on an ongoing basis to maintain a steady flow of customers, through quality assurance and exceptional customer service. Workforce development services are provided to employees with disabilities to ensure adequate training, skill building, ongoing support and ongoing career planning.
integrated community development: workforce specialists provide career focused skill building, screening, placement and support services to ensure individuals with disabilities have meaningful opportunities for employment. Individuals are employed in integrated work settings that include both individuals with and without disabilities. These work environments help to foster greater independence and inclusion. Linden workforce specialists provide follow-along supports for both the individual and the employer and facilitate on-the-job training for the individuals, as needed. The individuals in community employment may need assistance in preparing for integrated community employment, finding and applying for appropriate skill-based employment, and retaining their jobs.
