Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health Treatment
Mission: To empower people to rebuild and enhance their lives, by serving those with mental illness, chemical dependency, homelessness and unemployed.
Programs: Mental health services and clinical dependency services include:1. Diagnosis and treatment services-as part of it's mental health services, lifenet dispenses intake and diagnosis services as well as follow-up appointments in order to assess drug treatment effectiveness and provide therapy as needed. 2. Drug dependency services-lifenet provides intensive outpatient and supportive outpatient treatment for those who are abusing drugs and have chemical addictions and who wish to stop these behaviors. A therapeutic group focuses on co-occurring disorders (mental illness and drug dependency). 3. Psycho-affective disorders-lifenet treats people suffering from psychotic disorders on an out-placement basis. 4. Bi-polar disorder services-lifenet helps clients with all manner of bi-polar disorders. 5. Assertive community treatment (act)-clients with a history of mental illness can consider assertive community treatment, or act, lifenet's most intense level of outpatient services, dedicated to reducing the need and duration of hospitalization. 6. Jail diversion-a proven-effective program that helps newly released parolees remain out of jail.
