Mission: Conduct patriotic and charitable activities, membership meetings, and social and recreational activities for members and their bonified guests in accordance with provisions of regulation 1. 501(c)(19)- 1(c).
Programs: Sponsored patriotic events and activities in licking county, ohio which included parades and observances honoring local veterans and their families on memorial and veterans days as well as other occasions of importance to local veterans.

sponsor local high school and middle school students in rotc chapters in their school functions and in the local communities of licking county. Post 85 also sponsors student representatives for area high schools to attend buckeye boys and girls state, a week-long program that educates youth about the function and form of our federal and state governments.
