I am very pleased to see this organization building capacity and adding fabulous advocates and professionals to its staff and board. Although I haven't been a client of the LDAC, I have been a client to some of the wonderful people that make up the organization. Because my son was twice exceptional, the school district minimized the difficulties arising from his learning disability. This continued to the point that he was in treatment for clinical anxiety and I feared he would soon turn off completely to school. I tried the other organizations designed for helping children with learning disabilities; unfortunately they also minimized my son’s difficulties. With help from several members of the LDAC community, my son became reinstated in special education, and even more importantly, he began receiving the services he needs to be successful in school and happy in his life.
