Mission: To provide excellent leadership training through authentic mentoring of next generation leaders to equip them for a lifestyle of god-honoring influence.
Programs: Mentoring services:------------------in the spring leadership edge expanded its mentoring services to include mentoring not only individuals in college, but to also include young professionals (usually ages 18-30). This allowed more individuals to be mentored and also enabled lei alumni who do not live near a college campus to begin to volunteer as a mentor. A pilot program of this expanded mission was started in the spring. Mentoring curriculum was edited to accommodate young professionals in mentoring relationships. College campuses that the organization continues to serve are cedarville college, duke university, harvard university, southern methodist university, stanford university and university of north carolina chapel hill. There were 33 mentor-mentee relationships this year representing 17 active mentors and 14 mentees.
alumni services:---------------two alumni mens gatherings took place in the spring serving a total of 45 alumni and guestsone on the east coast (25 participants) and one on the west coast (30 participants). Mentoring, counseling and life coaching were also provided to alumni throughout the year.
speaking and training programs:------------------------------a total of ten speaking and training events took place during this fiscal year with 362 individuals in attendance. This training and speaking included training for cru staff and student leaders at university of north carolina, duke university mem program, ka fraternity, turas interns, cherokee emerging leaders, lei guys group, two engagements for young life in durham-chapel hill and a bay area nextgen panel discussion.
