Mission: We are a peer operated organization that serves individuals who have had trauma, mental health, and substance use challenges with career assessment, employment support and technology training to enhance and promote self-empowerment.
Programs: We the people of the laurie mitchell empowerment and career center believe in the healing power of love and work. Lmecc supports over 200 people annually living with significant trauma, mental health, substance abuse, and other disability challenges to fulfill their employment potential. We are "the village" that helps people get employed in valuable jobs in healthcare, business administration, construction, hospitality, food service, education, and other service to our community and country.
