The Late Onset Tay-Sachs charity is an underexposed, yet crucial organization focusing on finding treatments, cures and providing information on genetic diseases. It is built on love and pure dedication in the fight against this debilitating disease and those affected. L.O.T.S. organization is working hard to fund research and clinical trials so we can one day (in the near future) get through the blood brain barrier and find ways to regenerate enzymes for all those that suffer from genetic diseases. There are hundreds of different diseases that will benefit from this medical technology. L.O.T.S. puts on an annual fundraiser with speakers, an amazing silent auction, raffle and brunch to raise money to educate our community and support this significant cause. I am proud to be part of such a noble and significant effort and love that 100% of the proceeds go directly to the cause. This research not only effects those suffering presently, but our future generations. It's work is extraordinary.

This organization supports a very important disease most people don't know about. I was educated about the disease from the well organized benefits that are held every year. They have very informative speakers and great silent auction items at their events where you can save over 50% the value of the purchase and the money goes directly to research and education of this debilitating disease. The speakers included Dr. Evan Snyder, stem cell specialist, and Dr. Wayne Grody, doctor of genetics, and Dennis Prager, radio personality. I learned there is no treatments even available for those affected and by donating I can save and change someone's life for the better.
