Causes: Philanthropy, Philanthropy, Charity & Voluntarism Promotion
Mission: Lake union rotary foundation support projects related to clean water, hygiene, education, health and at risk youth in alignment with rotary international
Programs: Purchase of high quality water filtration systems to produce clean drinking water for 18 elementary schools in adis ababa ethiopia. Members of lake union rotary visited ethiopia to verify systems onsite, selection of schools and start of associated hygiene training program. Year 3 of grant program in conjunction with seattle ngo splash.
paddleboard building program. In conjunction with the center for wooden boats, 5 at risk youths were provided with stipends and on-the-water experiences as well as job skills training to prepare for careers in the maritime industry.
emergency winter clothing was provided for the orion youthcare shelter in the seattle lake union neighborhood. Volunteers spent time at the shelter to prepare meals and hand out winter clothing and sleeping bags.

skihawks racing team was supported to help athletes with disabilities to go to special olympics.
alpha supported living services received support for providing support services for young adults with developmental disabilities in king county.
jazz night school was supported to provide people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to come together to learn, perform, and enjoy jazz.
