I get a call every year, but not this year. I hope and pray that you are all well. I will donate directly online and just get it done. It is awful to realize that this very important program has not been donated to and it is already Dec 6th!! Please be well and know that the Woodinville License Agency is so happy to have you online and I just hope we are able to still help for this very important year of giving.
When my family wa sin the Toughest the situation The Holiday treasure trust helped me. The Holiday Tresor trust help me it’s hard not to be able to give your kids what they want at the holidays. Review from Guidestar
Mark and the holiday treasure chest foundation have changed my life and my community. Over the summer they donated so much meat to my community that were we able to feed 30 families in need. Thank you for being so giving and always making ways to bring smiles and support to those in need.
Working with the Holiday Treasure Chest Charity Foundation is always a fun and rewarding experience. We have a tradition at the Seattle Aquarium of including these "family friendly" pirates in our Halloween festivities and they never disappoint our guests, staff and volunteers. It wouldn't be the same without them! They bring an energy to the Aquarium that excites children of all ages while never being too scary or intimidating. I highly recommend this group as one of Seattle's best non-profit organizations that is committed to making a difference in our community.
Doing good works while dressed as pirates.
Dear Mark,
I want to “Thank you” so much for you and “Holiday Treasure Chest Charity Foundation’s” generous contribution to the families and single adults here at Sand Point on July 23rd.
Families and individuals here at Sand Point often struggle with finances and the ability to buy groceries. Your generous donation of high quality meat gives our residents the opportunity to feed their families for several months with your high quality food.
Everyone was excited and grateful and remember you in their hearts; every time they take a bite of a delicious meal.
Sincerely,
Dee Hillis Residential Services Director
This is an amazing charity that I was proud to be a part of for many years & also they helped my oldest daughter be able to have a wonderful Christmas with her daughter one year when she was struggling to make ends meet.
Thank you Holiday Treasure Chest for all that you do!
❤️
This charity goes out of it’s way to help the needy. Not just at Christmas, filling the needs of so many that have fallen through the cracks. But all year long, donating food, clothing and much needed cash! They also have a branch called Tubie Friends that match stuffed animals to kids with health issues. If a child has a feeding tube so does their animal. They are sponsoring children all over the world.

I have been volunteering with the Holiday Treasure Chest for at least 10 years. This organizations helps families in their times of need. They provide a car load of toys and food for a very Merry Christmas to families who are in need and are turned away from other charities.
They also help throughout the year in other ways. One other leg of the charity is Tubie Friends who take a standard build a bear and match it to a sick child with feeding and breathing tubes.
This charity is amazing,
Until last March I spent six years heavily involved with the Washington State Combined Fund Drive raising funds for various charities, being a member of the King County Steering Committee and charity coordinator for the office I worked in. During the past year I have become involved with the Holiday Treasure Chest Foundation and it has been a rewarding experience. One of the most difficult and rewarding things that I have participated in is visiting children in the oncology unit of Children's Hospital. As a volunteer I helped collect toys for needy children at Christmas as well as laying wreaths on soldiers final resting places. I now strongly believe in the good that this charity is doing and will continue to participate in their endeavors for the foreseeable future.
My father crossed over a few months ago. The foundation gathered a truck load of food and distributed it to many locations. The gave a soup kitchen in Seattle enough frozen meat to provide meals to a small army they did so to honor my father's name knowing that helping people was his try joy in life.

People do not realize that falling through the cracks of society during Christmas is very easy. Most people do not know that if you do not apply before thanksgiving that it is almost impossible to find help during Christmas. A single parent with one child in King county needs to earn $27.00 an hour for a living wage. Poverty wage is $7.00 per hour. (From MIT study 2017) The majority of single parents make far less than $27.00 per hour. After all this was why they raised the min. wage in Seattle to $15.00 per hour. The Holiday Treasure Chest Charity Foundation saw that people fell through the cracks. That single parents were not able to provide presents and even food during the holiday season. Imagine no cookies, pie or even a Christmas ham or turkey, let alone a tree and the presents that came along with the season. The Foundations vision was to ensure that the true spirit of Christmas is shared with everyone.
Yes there is a Santa Clause only he is really dressed like a pirate.
Individually we can all make a difference. Together we can make an impact.
Over the last couple years I've watched this group help endless people. Above all , the people they help come first. It's truly amazing to help families during such a difficult time of year. You truly never understand how tough the holidays can be until you have nothing. This group gives family in need the spirit of Christmas and allow it to live on in the hardest times.
This team goes put of their way to get to know you and help you when no one else will help you. Thank you for being a light to our family
In the time of need for my family and I this foundation not only provided Christmas gifts but when I showed up to pick them up it was a breath of fresh air. Everybody was so joyful and non-judgemental that I felt like I was family I'm extremely grateful for this organization as they keep me encouraged throughout the year not just at Christmas time they check in to see how we are doing and always give us a good laugh.
This is a small grass roots charity that has been helping local families in the Seattle area for over a decade. Each year they raise funds and donations to support hundreds of families through an annual toy warehouse in December as well as smaller projects throughout the year to local women’s shelters and food banks. The focus is helping those in a time a need with a little comfort.
I have personally worked in the December Holiday Treasure Chest distribution center. I have assisted parents who would not have had a holiday for their family without the help of this program. They were everyday people who were faced with tough choices like paying medical bills or house repairs vs toys or food for the holiday. They came in and pick out toys and gifts that were just right for their children’s interests. They also each got a trunk load of food to make the holidays a little brighter. They always come into the center tentative and walk out grateful for the support of the local community.
The Holiday Treasure Chest also supports Tubie Friends a therapy toy program providing stuffed animals with the same medical equipment that they have. When a small child has feeding tubes, cancer ports or other medical devices they feel different than everyone else. Tubie Friends provides them with a toy that has the same devices they do. This program has garnered requests from parents across the US and EU. It is amazing how much comfort something small like a stuffed animal with the same devices a child has can bring. No child should suffer alone and feel isolated because of their medical condition. Tubie friends makes a material difference in their small lives.
My involvement, volunteering began in 2014, and was truly an eye opener.
The work and willingness to give to the communities in Snohomish, King, Pierce and the United Kingdom, strengthen my resolve in the labor of love.
The Holiday Treasure Chest Foundation is a true example of servant-leadership, commendable to how the organization provides time and team members, to provide ever-increasing dedication, committment, and enthusiasm for those in need of everyday staples, and food.. Through food and toy drives, providing a Christmas to familyies with hardships.
A single grain of sand can tip the scales, as the Tubie Friends, of this organization has achieved. Another example of support and dedication provided by volunteers, for children hospitalized with life threatning illnesses. Smiles and laughter are provided by these teams who visit, re-construct the supporting life savings equipment to become campanions for children as they struggle to heal.

I cannot say enough good things about the wonderously amazing things this Charity does! From raising money for Tubie Friends, an all volunteer group who take teddy bears and fit them with the same feeding and breathing tubes as a sick child, visiting Children's Hospital, purchasing cars for needy families so they can get their sick children to treatment. And then there is Christmas!!!!! Warehouses full of toys, bikes, balls, everything a kid could ask for! Pirate the Certified Therapy Dog and I could not be happier to be associated with this group who go to such lengths to help children in so many ways. All the while having great fun. Thank You Holiday Treasure Chest for letting us join in.
I have been involved with this Charity from its beginning. To watch the growth is not only amazing but personally fulfilling as well. I watch as the Holiday Treasure Chest donated in excess of $150,000 in goods to other non profits the first 3 quarters of 2017.
I understand when they say "Individually we all can make a difference but together we can make an impact"
May 2017 be the best year yet.:)
