Who says cultural education about history cannot be fun? I've been coming to the tango concert for several years this year they added tango classes ahead of time. My fellow students were a mix of beginners and intermediate at the beginning but the teachers were amazing. They taught us little tricks to make things easier. After six weeks we went to the concert with a greater appreciation for the music plus the ability to dance to it wthout being too self-conscious. Thank you La Senora.

Went to a talk/book signing there last week. As usual the program was really interesting. I always come away more impressed.
We came to enjoy an educational event in a pretty location. Hours later we asked "Do we really need to leave." Education is well delivered in unexpected and pleasing ways. It doesn't seem like learning until you walk out the door remembering how much new info you remember. The Volunteers here are enthusiastic and very, very knowledgeable. They asked if we'd had 'fun'. The answer was 'yes'. We became supporting level members
We just returned from attending one of La Senora's arranged events with Collaborative organizations. It was, as usual, superb. Through out relationship with La Senora we have been introduced to some very high quality, limited access events in museums or galleries or with other small non profits that we had never heard of. This week's event was the once a year WLA Symphony held at Royce Hall on the UCLA campus. A 501[c3] run by Leah Berman and Joe Neep, this symphony is worthy of support from the cultural community but also ties back to the opera of La Senora's Jose Mojica and to the music of composers performed in the Mojica Hacienda during his residency. La Senora has taken us to a range of programs, just look at it's calendar on website www.lasenora.org to see the programs we've enjoyed.
