Mission: The specific purpose of this corporation is for the advancement of science and for research purposes as defined in section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code, including the improved treatment, research design and methods, and knowledge rleated to the allergic response, infectious disease, and immunologic pathways. We provide educational activities for school children, undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral students.
Programs: The national institutes of health funded grant determines the mechanisms whereby microparticles derived from endothelial cells and platelets protect against cerebral malaria. The national institute of health funded grant determines the mechanisms whereby red blood cell microparticles protect against experimental cerebral malaria.
