Causes: Ethnic & Immigrant Centers, Human Services, Immigration
Mission: Vfa advances equity in education, fosters civic engagement, and advocates for vietnamese and other refugee and immigrant communities.
Programs: Project rise- project rise serves approximately 250 refugee and immigrant youth a year in academics, job training, leadership, and arts and cultural activities.
jobs- the youth readiness job training program serves 20 vietnamese youth and families a year. The program focuses on job training, family self-sufficiency, parent education, and post-secondary career opportunities.
sesec- southeast seattle education coalition (sesec) is a coalition of community based organizations, schools, educators, community leaders, parents and caregivers, and concerned southeast seattle residents working to improve education for all children, especially those in south east seattle and those farthest away from opportunities.
