Mission: Junia company is a faith-based, not-for-profit, charitable company that empowers all to advance the kingdom of god. Junia company trains, inspires, develops, and empowers others; provides empowerment training, empowerment housing, and empowerment coaching for the development of individuals, leaders, businesses, churches, profit and non-profit organizations; and , provides oversight for other non-profit churches and businesses.
Programs: The year of 2017 was a year for updating the vision. We partnered with a local agency to use ann's house to serve more families in need. We focused more on training and coaching and getting the training and certification needed to move forward. We had websites updated. Our goal to train, inspire, develop and empower was accomplished through the following: 1. Three women at ann's house were ready to move to other programs to help them with addictions. One resident went home, two went to having the courage to change. 2. We received over 74 calls from women interested in moving into ann's house. Fifty percent (50) of them were unable to be accepted as the room for 4-7 children per mom was not there. The other 30% were on drugs and referred to rehabilitation programs. Another 20 percent of the women were referred to other programs as they did not choose to find work, a requirement of our program, or they did not call back as they chose to stay in their current circumstance. The women were given referrals to 381-safe line to call and to having the courage to change. 3. Weekly we offered training, vision development, empowerment coaching, motivational speaking, or inspiration, and christian spiritual development to over 1,175 people. 4. We served over 3600 urban youth and their families with bread and pastries for their families. We partnered with a local agency to serve a family with a total of 8 children for 7 months.
