Mission: We provide a protective, faith-based environment that transforms the lives of women who have experienced domestic and sexual violence. Jennifer’s Harbor exists to be a community leader in the prevention of domestic and sexual violence by being an advocate to the survivors and family members of those who are exploited & vulnerable, whether it be domestic violence, sexual assault or human trafficking, through raising awareness, providing emotional support, and ongoing life coaching.
Results: 300+ Women directly impacted! We’ve walked alongside over 300 women through our various programs and outreach efforts. 500+ Community members educated! Our speakers lead education sessions in churches, workplaces, schools and other places on the importance of healthy relationships and boundaries.
Target demographics: Women and family members of domestic and sexual violence.
Geographic areas served: In Allen and surrounding counties.
Programs: 1:1 coaching, Girls Night Chats, The Cove (family program and weekly meal), 12 week program on healing after an abusive relationship, church and community education on domestic violence and healthy relationships, annual Girlfriend Getaway retreats.
