Mission: To promote mercy, beauty, and truth through performance and service. Jaradoa theater is a member-based company dedicated to compassionate action, authentic storytelling, collaboration, diversity, and play. We seek to create great theater in an environment where artists thrive and serve the community through theater outreach and partnerships with relief organizations.
Programs: During the 2010-11 season, jaradoa theater presented an original production of new musical "i'll be damned" and hosted the miami broadway unplugged concert. Jaradoa theater's "play on! " theater and literacy program was brought to schools, afterschool programs and shelters for teenagers. Jaradoa's radio theater program continued for elderly in nursing homes and shelters. Jaradoa leads workshops with teenagers in an alternative-to-incarceration center, and developing programming for youth in prison, women recovering from sex trafficking, and veterans and military families.
