The J. Benjamin Eckenhoff Memorial Foundation organizes the annual fund-raising event; its net proceeds from the event are contributed to the endowment fund at Stanford University.

i did this ride a few years ago, and it was laid-back but fun. it's not the type of event filled with bells and whistles, and you might even get lost, but it's clear that it's done for a good cause and funds go to that, not to someone' s salary. good stuff!
