Mission: The mission of the international women's writing guild is to provide a constantly expanding network for the personal and professional empowerment of women through writing and the written word. The guild is open to all regardless of portfolio
Programs: Major and largest event in 2010 was iwwg's annual summer conference held at skidmore college featuring 45 individual writing workshops, 45 workshop teachers. This event was attended by 250 women. Additionally, iwwg continued its big apple workshops at the national arts club in new york city featuring all-day writing workshops on saturdays and on sundays: open house meet the authors/meet the agents. These weekends took place in april and october 2010 and were attended by more than 300 persons (total). Additionally, iwwg featured its annual california conference in santa cruz, ca, always in march, as well as local gatherings and "kitchen tables" throughout the us.
