Mission: ISEP promotes academic and cross-cultural learning through its worldwide network of higher education institutions. ISEP facilitates academic mobility through innovative and affordable programs to achieve authentic global learning. ISEP enhances institutional infrastructures and fosters campus internationalization.
Results: Since 1979, over 46,000 students have participated in ISEP Programs. During the 2012-13 academic year, 3,211 students studied in 52 countries (including the USA).

Programs: Isep direct program - the organization arranges for students to attend certain international institutions on a fee for service basis. Generally, students pay fees directly to the organization and the organization pays tuition, housing, and other fees to the host institutions.
isep reciprocal exchange program - the organization promotes and facilitates reciprocal student exchange programs among member institutions in the united states and abroad.
global engagement programs - the organization supports programs combining elements of the reciprocal exchange and isep direct programs and provides operating assistance to host institutions. In-country community service is an integral part of these programs.
