Mission: The international society for stem cell research is an independent, nonprofit organization established to promote and foster the exchange and dissemination of information and ideas relating to stem cells, to encourage the general field of research involving stem cells, and to promote professional and public education in all areas of stem cell research and application.
Programs: Communications and education - publish a newsletter e-mailed to approximately 14,000 people and provide a website to communicate to members and non-members. The website visits per month are approximately 30,000.
annual meeting - conduct an annual meeting to educate members about advances in stem cell research. The meeting allows members to share information with other professionals in the field of stem cell research. Approximately 3,600 people attended.
