Mission: The international association of jewish vocational services (iajvs)strengthens the capabilities and capacity of its member agencies toincrease economic self-sufficiency, independence and build aproductive work force of its constituent clients. Iajvs provides its member organizations with technical assistance, research and information services; private, corporate and governmental funding opportunities for its affiliates; grant opportunities; and national and international collaborations. Iajvs provides opportunities for professional development through the development and sponsorship of an annual conference, executive leadership forums, teleconferences, and train-the-trainer institutes.

Iajvs researches governmental and private funding opportunities for its constituency and develops collaborative program models. Iajvs is a forum for ideas and discussion, an advocate for its members on important issues nationally and internationally, and a tireless partner in its efforts to find creative ways to increase funding for the essential services that member agencies provide. To achieve that end, iajvs sponsors an annual conference for its members, providing a crucial forum for agencies to share ideas, collaborate on programs, and expand communication. In order to enhance services to its members, as well as increase the visibility of the jewish vocational service network, iajvs cultivates important relationships with other national organizations.
