Programs: To promote research, development, charaterization, standardization, quality control, improvements in production technology, and both nonclinical and clinical assessment of medical products derived from biological sources. To serve as a platform for discussion and the development of consensus positions on contemporary issues relsted to biologicals. To organize congresses, symposia,and other scientific meetings, and to publish reports of such meetings.
