Mission: The ICYC provides a comprehensive approach to improving the education and health of the economically disadvantaged children of the Liberty City/Little Haiti community of Miami, Florida. The ICYC program goals are accomplished through a locally based, readily accessible, supervised, one-stop education and recreation center. Its programs are provided for the school age population after normal school hours. These positive activities replace opportunities for engaging in negative alternatives such as drug use, violence and irresponsible sexual behavior. This has the ultimate effect of making a positive impact in the education standards and health of the ICYC population.
