Mission: Infant welfare society of chicago (iws) is an illinois not-for-profit corporation, which provides quality medical services for the healthy physical and mental development of children and women, to give them a foundation for future productive and wholesome lives. Under one roof, iws provides pediatric dental services, pediatric mental health from ages three to eighteen; well-child care with an innovative birth-to-age-three developmental overlay (healthy steps program); and for women, prenatal care, family planning, preventitive care, and management of chronic disease. Iws is dependent on continued support from private and public gifts, grants and contracts.
