Mission: (a) to promote and facilitate provision by the indiana university school of medicine services of a specialized nature involving difficult problems in the fields of psychiatry and psychology, which services will be available to citizens of indiana and others. (b) to provide and make available to students of the school and interns and residents in the hospitals access to as broad a spectrum of patients as is possible, in recognition of the fact that such a spectrum of patients is essential to performance of the educational functions of the school. (c) to engage actively and continuously in psychiatric and psychological research and to provide psychiatric and psychological education and research in conjunction with and auxiliary to the operation of the department of psychiatry of indiana university school of medicine and its hospitals.
Programs: The iupa tin is leased by indiana university health physicians for billing, collections and contract work. The collections are directly remitted to iuhp.
provided students, interns, and residents of the indiana university school of medicine access to a broad range of patients through direct participation in providing clinical care through two clinical support agreements. Provided additional financial support to the department of psychiatry to enhance the department's intern and residency programs.
