Causes: Domestic Fraternal Societies
Mission: Promote the personal and social development of its members by: improving and elevating the character of mankind through the principles of friendship, love, truth, faith, hope charity and universal justice; to help make the world a better place to live by aiding eac h other, the community, the less fortunate, the youth, the elderly and the environment; to promote good will and harmony amongst peoples and nations through the principles of universal fraternity among all men and women.
Programs: Lodge meetings and events to promote fraternal relations and the education of members. Expenses include affiliation fees with the independent order of odd fellows grand lodge of washington, and expenses associated with lodge office activities, paraphernalia and event expenses.
support of nonprofit national and community organizations through fundraising and direct contributions from the lodge.
donation of lodge facilities to other nonprofit organizations, including young shakespeare workshop, unity zikir, ballard food bank and new beginnings women's emergency shelter and support.
