Mission: Imd guest house provides the comforts of home and the care of community to outpatients and the families of patients who must seek treatment away from home through convenient and affordable temporary lodging.
Programs: The core program of imd guest house is to provide convenient and affordable temporary lodging to outpatients and the families of patients who must seek treatment away from home. Located in the illinois medical district, it is the only facility in the chicago area open to patients of all ages, and that supports patients receiving any type of treatment. In 2017, imd guest house provided 10,819 nights of service, helping 661 families. It is the policy of imd guest house to never turn families away for lack of funds. In 2017, guests received financial assistance on more than 70% of our nights of service.
