Mission: Founded as a small film series at Rockefeller University in 2008, today Imagine Science Films is a full-fledged film company whose mission is to bridge art and science through filmmaking. We encourage collaboration between scientists, who dedicate their lives to studying the world in which we live, and filmmakers, who interpret and expose this knowledge, together making science accessible and stimulating to the broadest possible audience. Our vision is that the way science is portrayed in the mainstream media will be artful, compelling, and accessible to all.
