Mission: The illinois college of optometry's primary exempt purpose is to maintain and conduct a college or school for teaching the theory and practice of optometry, including optometric sciences, related subjects, and such other branches of knowledge as may be deemed appropriate; to conduct research into all branches of optometry and related subjects; and to institute and fund projects that may be considered beneficial to optometry and its related fields and carry out such projects.
