Mission: To advance education about the process, product and history of craft.
Programs: Exhibitions - presented six major exhibitions showcasing various craft media including ceramics, fiber, glass, wood, metal and mixed media.
education and outreach - workshops, tours, afterschool, and in-school intensive programs. Free public activities such as demonstrations, family-day craft making activities and open galleries.
artist in residence program - competitive awards to up to 10 artiest per year for 6 to 12 month residencies which include a modest stipend, internet, overhead and individual studio space. Artists are required to open their studios 24 hours each week to interact with the public.
craft exhibit and sales gallery that advances education about craft by displaying crafts and providing information about the artistic process and the craftspersons.
