Mission: Housing options & planning enterprises inc9s (h. O. P. E. ) mission is to ensure equal access to housing for all persons through counseling, education, community revitalization, and stabilization. See schedule o, item 7 for the organization mission statement continuation.
Programs: Foreclosure intervention is a major component of our couseling services; assisting homeowners who have fallen behind on their mortgages or challenged to stay current. Our pre-purchase education/counseling provides general information about classroom setting. This includes, but not limited to, information on down-payment assistance programs, and closing costs. We have counseled over 1204 clients from 1/1/2012 to 12/31/2012. The breakdown is as follows: 574 individuals first time homebuyers class; 238 attended resolving mortgage delinquencies outreach; 379 resolved mortgage delinquencies; 25 have enrolled in our financial capability classes.
