Programs: Hospice charitable properties, inc. , ("hcpi") is a wholly owned subsidiary of hinds hospice, a 501(c)(3) corporation. It is a title holding corporation pursuant to internal revenue code section 501(c)(2). Hcpi was established to hold title to commercial property and manage the rental activities, for which hinds hospice is the anchor tenant. From time to time, the hospice may receive charitable bequests of other properties, which may be contributed to the organization to hold title and turn net income over to the hospice.
