have had very positive experiences with hope for animals over the years. my two cats were vaccinated, and spayed/neutered, and chipped at the clinic. staff is very helpful and professional. have also picked up cat food and shelters for the outside colony in my neighborhood. they offer lower prices when they can for people with low incomes. would highly recommend this business which helps lower the cat and dog populations. very happy with the services that they provide.
You guys are the best most kindest caring people truly Angel's here on earth you guys have made it very affordable for me too keep my dog healthy and happy and for that I will be forever grateful for that and for having the opportunity to have a great place like hope for animals I highly recommend anyone who needs help with getting their pets fixed they offer lots of financial help as well and they also give out food for people in need for dogs and cats but you have to sign up for that as well but yes again thank you hope for animals for taking good care of my babies
2 of ours fur babies were fixed at Hope for Animals, they were very kind and took very good care of our fur babies. I would highly recommend them
My son who is 19, took his dog “Titan” to Hope to get neutered. Not only was the price very low but the treatment he received was exceptional. They were kind, caring, nurturing, and informative. Let me say that Titan is a boxer/pit mix, 10 months old, and weighs about 75 pounds. After his surgery he was still a little uneasy and when the tiny girl brought him out, she was carrying him!! She thought nothing of it, she said he didn’t want to walk to she just picked him up. I would recommend Hope to anybody and everybody, a wonderful , trusting place to care for your pets. Thank you Hope!
Great Staff, Always Willing to help. The best and now only low cost spay & Neuter clinic in Fort Wayne
Came in on an off call in for our kitty neuter. Didn't have enough room for us but still took us to help us stay in our apartment, 100% worth it to be with HOPE. They exceed all expectations :) will be back again for our new kitten coming. :)
I was lucky enough to be a volunteer at HOPE for a summer. I did their laundry. Since I was behind the scenes I got to see the doctors and staff as they really were not just their public faces. I have to tell you I never saw so much love and dedication any where in my life.
One of the vets stayed after her normal time just to hold and sooth a kitten that was dying. The compassion she showed still makes me cry after all this time.
I was impressed how dedicated everyone was to keep the place clean, safe and comfortable for every animal they cared for. I took my dog there to be neutered knowing she was in good hands and I didn't need to worry about her. I use the services they offer and always feel we get great treatment for a fair price.
I love HOPE for Animals.
I am on a very limited income of eight hundred dollars a month. My dogs are not just pets they are comfort /therapy dogs.( I have a letter written by my doctor so I don't pay the normal pet rent.)
H.O.P.E helps me keep my little dogs healthy by offering free vaccines. I could not afford to get them their necessary shots other wise. Thanks H.O.P.E
Best place to get stuff done for your fur babies! Love that every year they can do discounts on micro chips and spay and neuter!
I like hope for animals because they took real good care of Nero when he was here,he passed away in July, and they take real good care of Angel when I bring her in,I would recommend hope for animals to anybody, they're excellent.
Hope for animals is an amazing organization with awesome people!!
HOPE treated my anxious dog Artie with kindness several years ago and went the extra mile for kitty Poe who had a little accident in his crate. They took the time to tidy him and his crate and get us on our way quickly so Poe could get back home! HOPE does great work!
Very nice and helpful people . Really good with my pets .
These people are amazing . I have had 2 cats fixed thru them & have not had any bad experiences. LoVe them
This is where I took 17 feral cats and 'accident' kittens to be altered. They couldn't have been more helpful and all were successes. The feral went right back where they came from after recovering and the kittens all found good homes where they were altered when old enough. I couldn't have done it without Hope for Animals' help!
I have been going to HOPE for quite a few years now and I can't say enough wonderful things about it. The staff is kind and professional. I mostly take Community cats but when I do add another furry family member I take them there as well. I have never had to take a cat back due to an issue after a surgery but it is comforting to know that they have a number for you to call and will see them free of charge if there is a medical issue after the spay or neuter. I took a pregnant cat on one occasion but I was having a battle with my conscience. The staff member let me talk and cry out my feelings and in the end I took her back home. There was no judgement on her part and I was not made to feel like I just wasted her time. I will never forget her kindness. I can't imagine taking the fur babies anywhere besides HOPE.
HOPE for Animals serves a hugely important need in the Fort Wayne area. There are so many people who cherish their pets but can't afford to have them spayed or neutered at a veterinarian. HOPE's impact on our community has been immeasurable!
My cat Carlos stopped humping my female cat after Hope for Animals snipped him!
We had amazing TLC from all the H.O.P.E. staff when we took our rescue dog Zeke there for various reasons.
God bless you
Take my dogs there every year for their vaccines. Everyone is always friendly and helpful and great with my 2 over sized babies.
Only place i will take my kitties. They always treat my fur babies with such kindness and they are always willing to help low income people and people in need. Than
HOPE for Animals allowed us to have our kittens spayed and vaccinated at a low cost to us, and the vets and employees there are all super kind and helpful.
Hope for Animals spayed all 3 of our cats. They were so wonderful with us and our cats!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!! The staff is very friendly and just wonderful with the animals!!!
We had our 3 cats spayed at Hope for Animals. The staff is amazing!! They are so caring for not just the pets but also the family that brings them in!!! Thank you for everything you all do and for taking such great care of everyone’s family pets!!!
Hope for Animals came out and trapped seven of my feral cats for spay/neuter and brought them back. I could not have done what they did by myself. I was so happy with the service they provide that I am telling everyone about my experience. Thank You so much for what you do for the Community!!
Such a friendly staff, I went in looking for flea medicine for my animals and they went above and beyond to help me.
HOPE helped me get a pup up to date on shots so she could visit her terminally ill owner in the hospital one last time. They did this free of charge and even threw in a cute sweater for Princess. They are a true asset to our community.
I LOVE H.O.P.E! They do outstanding work and truly help the community animals. I've had both my dogs and mother n laws dog micro chipped there. The staff was immensely nice and professional. I recommend H.O.P
E for all of your needs for your furbabies.
I had my two cats spayed at Hope For Animals. My kitties were given excellent care. The staff takes their time to explain every detail and answer any questions we had. I highly recommend Hope a For Animals.
Clean, friendly, energetic and caring staffing .I had my dog spayed here I get all there vacations here and I have never had a bad experience
This is a wonderful place. They have been instrumental in helping me with me through the years with my community cats. From my silly questions answered patiently over the phone. Low cost spay and neutering to the shots needed to keep them safe, I am so appreciative. Always helpful and friendly to people and a champion of the animals in our community. This is an amazing organization.
We have been going here since they opened. The staff is excellent. You can Definitely tell they are a very compassionate about animals and helping humans take care of them and have them in their lives. Our community has benefited immensely from their services and their outreach programs.
We brought our newly rescued pup in to be spayed. The staff was very interested in her breed. We were thinking husky but small dog. They staff just fell in love with Lolly so when they had her for surgery they spent some time researching her breed. When we picked her up they shared with us they thought she was a Norwegian Elkhound and Whippet. Lolly never grew into a big husky, she's only 18lbs but I think they got it right. They take great care of Boo and Lolly and we love that we have this resource in our area.
I've had two animals fixed at HOPE. They are the most professional and caring individuals. I was so nervous about getting my little Chihuahua fixed a couple months ago. But they really reassured me and I got an update when he was out of surgery and resting. They are SO important to our community offering low-cost spay, neuter and wellness services. I won't go anywhere else... Here's my boy they neutered, Sir Nacho Cheese
Hope 4 Animals took care of my 3 cats n helped me with food n caring 4 them. I would recommend them to everybody. They r very caring people
They took care of my 3 cats n r very friendly n helpful. I recommend Hope For Animals to everyone
I have eight animals and they have all been seen by The Hope clinic absolutely love the staff I love the love that they have for these animals they treat them like they're theirs I would definitely recommend this I do recommend this I think all of these staff members at the Hope clinic that are involved should give themselves a pat on the back cuz I do an awesome job!
I've taken my dogs here for wellness visits & spay/neuters since 2005. The staff, doctors & facility are all amazing!
I am so thankful for their community cat Program. So far I have trapped, spayed/neutered 10 cats in the past two years. These abandoned , dumped, feral and pets that were left behind are now all fixed I cannot reproduce and are able to live the best life possible that they can outside since they do not want any human contact. If it wasn’t for this program saving lives of all these cats and HOPE for animals offering to do the ear tip, microchip, three-year rabies shot and fix them , I couldn’t imagine all the senseless lives that would’ve been lost. I recommend this place highly not only for community cats but also for your pets as well, my daughter has had her babies fixed here and got their shots there as well if it wasn’t for their affordable prices and specials that they have she wouldn’t be able to be a proper Fur mama
Have been trying to call over and over again I really need to talk to someone it's important that being said they fixed my dogs and worked with me for everything it was amazing my dogs were taken care of the staff was amazing
We brought a community cat we couldn’t even touch into Hope to be neutered. He’s 3 weeks out of surgery and we can carry him & pet him! We are so thankful for the low cost neuter & know WHEN we find more strays they’ll be saved by HOPE! The staff was amazing & treated him like he was their pet.
They have fixed 8 of my animals. The cost was so beneficial. I use their wellness clinic for my puppy it makes it affordable to have an animal and ensure it is healthy! So greatful
Excelent place. I come here to get affordable wellness care for my pets. The staff is friendly and helpful. They really care about the pets in our community.
We unexpectedly had a stray adopt us. He wasn't claimed by anyone, and he was living under our house. We already have 3 cats, but we couldn't just leave him outside. He was less than a year old, but old enough to be neutered. Unfortunately we didn't have the money. We were able to get him neutered for a lower price through H.O.P.E for Animals, which not only helped him, but helped our other cats to accept him. We have a happy, healthy family of cats now! H.O.P.E. for animals made that possible!
They loaned me a live trap, so I could catch a kitten I had been feeding at work. It worked and he is the most loving of the 3 cats I have. They also give my older two their shots through the Wellness Clinic! They are patient with the animals and treat them with love.
HOPE for animals has truly changed our community for the better. Providing low cost spay and neuter services plus low cost vaccines has made it possible for EVERY family to have the opportunity to properly care for their fur babies without having the stress of breaking the bank. I love HOPE and everything that they do!! ❤️❤️❤️
Great experience for the winter shelters we made last weekend thank you for helping the community cat's stay warm this winter
They have spayed or neutered a few of our cats and have always done a wonderful job for a great price! So thankful!
We have a small rescue and have been getting rescue animals their neuters there. The animals are so well cared for and the prices are so reasonable. The staff is also amazing.
I found 2stray kittens a couple years ago. It would have cost me several hundred dollars per cat for shots, tests & surgery. Thanks to H.O.P.E.'s reduced fees, I was able to provide a home for both. Their staff is very caring & friendly.
I have had all of my furbabies fixed through hope for animals, even my pitbull. When I brought him in they could see he was just a big baby and they treated all my babies with pure kindness and love.
Hope for Animals is one of the greatest organizations in Fort Wayne. All of our barn kitties visit this facility. We are so lucky to have them.
This organization continually changes the lives of loving pet owners in our community who want to take amazing care of their pets but are unable to do so through traditional methods! HOPE for Animals saves lives every single day!
Hope For Animals is an amazing place! Full of wonderful, caring and kind employees. Very neat and clean facility that I enjoy taking my pets to. Hope For Animals is number 1 in my book!
After my German Shepard got fixed, I got a call from hope for animals. The first words out of their mouth was, "your girls are okay," they just wanted me to know their surgery went well. How considerate that they knew I would be worried.
I was recently given 2 puppies after my rescue companion of 15 years passed away from Cancer. I was worried about how I will care for them properly since I am retired & on a fixed income. I was able to get all the shots for both of them for about $120. I made an appointment to have them spayed & neutered this month for about $130 total. If I can’t afford to pay it immediately, I can put it on Care Credit for deferred payments. Everyone was so kind & professional. They answered all my questions, & even helped me get them back in the car, which was difficult since I use a cane. I appreciate all they did, & will do for me, and for the whole community! I highly recommend them to everyone. Thanks from Marley & Tess, too!
We love hope for animals! Very professional and friendly staff and a very clean environment. We went to them for our puppy's shots and to get her spayed. We've also visited the wellness center a few times for deworming medicine and to get her nails clipped. We've been recommending them to everyone we know who gets a dog!
I love this place. They're making great strides in combatting overpopulation. I sponsored 4 spays for my shelter fosters for just $20 each one month (which saved one from a very silent pyometra) but don't let the low costs fool you. Their services and facility are top notch because of grants and donations and the people who work there are informative, friendly and caring. A+.
This great organization works to help its community provide quality care and necessary vaccinations for their beloved pets!
Hope For Animals was wonderful in helping me get a small dog I had taken in sight unseen that turned out to have several health problems. Thanks to Hope the dog was on his way to recovery. I count on them to help keep all my dogs healthy. The service they offer such as spay/neuter is great help to the whole community. Their services help keep pets in the homes of those who otherwise couldn't afford the care needed for them.
H.O.P.E. for Animals is a valuable organization in our community and surrounding areas. We are a better place because of the services they provide. They support our community through low-cost spay and neuter programs, discounted microchipping and vaccinations, general health services, and much more. Their Community Cat program is helping to decrease the population growth of feral cats, thus making the colonies healthier, which can deter free-roaming strays from entering the territory. I support this organization because of the enormous, positive impact it has on the euthanasia rates for our area.
I'm very confident in their abilities and compassion in dealing with animals. Their prices are much more affordable as well. My only issue is that although they provided all the needed info for pre-surgery, I received not one word of post-surgery info ahead of time. I used their services years ago for cats... but never for a dog. I had no idea neutering a male DOG requires a lot more aftercare and restrictions than a male CAT and it's a lot harder on a dog. Believe me, I have no problem with providing all necessary love and care for our pup for whatever amount of time it takes, BUT had I known post-surgical restrictions lasted 14 days I would never have scheduled neutering for our male dog when I did. It completely ruined our plans for the following weekend (9 days later) for our dog and for ourselves. Just one statement from them (during scheduling) to make me aware that restrictions last 14 days would have made all the difference. Then I could have asked any specific questions in regard to our plans and known BEFOREHAND that it was not good timing. There would have been no problem on our part waiting until another time to take him in. Their care and caring are excellent but more information BEFORE scheduling, specifically about restrictions AFTER, would be so beneficial.
Worst experience of my life!!! They NEVER told me a pickup time then said they would CALL ME when my dogs were ready to be picked up. Apparently the latest pickup time was at 4:15 and they did not call me until 4:53!! 7 minutes before they closed!! When we got there, they said there was a late fee!! But the rude manager came out and talked to me. She was disgruntled and rude but stated that she would waive the late fee. But after initially paying $170 at drop off, I had to pay $47 to pick them up, even though the fee was supposedly dropped!!! I am more peeved at the fact my dogs had been done for hours, waiting in cages, stress levels going crazy, when they could have came home with me when they were finished!! I will never come back again and I will make sure everyone knows NOT to take their pets here!! If you genuinely care about your animals, please do yourself and them a favor and go somewhere else!!
I have took 2 of my dogs and 2 cats to get fixed here.. absolutely love them!! Worth the drive of 45 minutes with a husky to have that compassion.
My 3 dogs got fixed a year ago. They were wonderful with them.
