Ahope is the first step towards moving into housing. It's open daily from 7 a. M. To noon weekdays and 8 a. M. To noon on weekends. The program offers basic services like showers, mail, phone, & storage. Most importantly, ahope is where housing intakes occur to get people on the road to permanent housing. Located at 19 n. Ann street, asheville, nc. Room in the inn is a mobile shelter serving 12 women and operated in partnership with 45 faith communities who take turns hosting the women for a week, providing all of their meals, shelter, and evening activities. The program director coordinates congregations and works with the women to move them out of the program and into permanent housing.
