Causes: Homeless & Housing, Low-Income & Subsidized Rental Housing
Mission: Entity was formed for the purpose of renting and maintaining independent living affordable, safe and sound housing enhanced with services to senior citizens of low and moderate income.
Programs: 20 units of housing serving senior citizens under section 202 of the federal housing act of 1959. Services, in addition to housing, include weekly continental breakfast, mobile grocery store, meals on wheels, food delivery, on-site bus stop, computer lab, diabetic clinic, wellness education opportunities, walking club and lending library. A variety of social programs are also provided, which include bingo, seasonal luncheons, brunches, and cookouts, exercise instruction, and transportation to the laurel senior center monday through friday.
