Programs: The homeless coalition sponsors the creating housing opportunities program. The program helps families and individuals move from homelessness to home. Creating housing opportunities pays for the first and last month's rent and security deposits for families and individuals who are ready to move from permanent supportive housing (shp); transitional housing (th); or interim housing (ih) into independent permanent housing.
project homeless connect is a quarterly one-stop event to deliver resources and services to people experiencing homelessness in palm beach county. 67,461 in donated services and facilities were used for this program.
homeless resource center is a single access point location to connect homeless individuals and families to housing. 746,099 in donated services and facilities were used for this program.
community outreach and public awareness program is a series of events to get the community of palm beach county involved with ending homelessness. Breaking bread, breaking barriers gives local businesses, church groups and private donors the opportunity to sponsor and/or serve meals to the 70 homeless men and women staying at the senator philip d. Lewis center. A total of 351,649 in donated services and resources were received for these programs during the fiscal year.
