My wife and I attended the fundraiser, A Taste of Africa, to benefit the Foundation. As soon as we entered the event we felt the warmth and compassion of those involved. Heartbreaking concerns for orphans and disadvantaged children concluded with uplifting stories of triumph out of extreme poverty and leadership roles in their communities. The visionary and founder behind this, Kathie Kreh, is energetic, charismatic and proof that one individual can make a difference.
Kathie Kreh, and her outstanding team at AOEF, provide such vital services to the children and families they serve, in Africa. All done with love, compassion, and lots of reverence and respect for the villages, people and cultures served. AOEF also has an amazing local, and international outreach, that encourages not just fundraising, but full engagement. Whether the monthly educational Youth Advisory Council meetings via Zoom, the Letters of Encouragement day; creating colorful and heartfelt notes to mail to each student, or the lovely live events, AOEF does a masterful job of bridging continents and bringing people together so that all the children may have the great opportunity to become their greatest selves. It's been an honor to be a donor and a volunteer!

Without an education it is hard to move forward to help your family and therefore your community. AOEF is doing great things by targeting the most needy in various villages, pairing financial supporters to pay for their education, and giving the emotional support needed to succeed. They have helped so many and it is such a joy to see so many men and women who have been supported and are now in turn supporting others. AOEF is doing what they say they do everyday!

AOEF supports education and the personal development needs of orphans & impoverished school aged children in Africa. Kathie Kreh, the founder of AOEF, is a dedicated, strong leader with a giving heart. Education can change the entire trajectory of someone’s life – I am proud to support AOEF and encourage others to as well.
African Orphan Educational Foundation is a wonderful organization bringing education to those in need, and empowering the underprivileged. Outstanding leadership and kind hearts propel this organization and bring success to those it helps.
I have been involved with non-profits for over 60 years and believe that the mission of AOEF is not only a solid one, but is achievable. The enthusiasm of the volunteers is palatable, which makes it easier for others to volunteer! I helped with a coloring book for their students in Africa and have been astounded at the speed in which goals have been met and far exceeded expectations. While they focus on children in Africa, every community in the United States as well as other countries can learn from AEOF ( and use the same coloring book to boost language arts, self-esteem and a sense of community).
Kathie and the African Orphan Educational Foundation are great! They have taken care of the educational needs of the children in Africa and I’m glad they have! I enjoy their newsletter also.
I am so impressed with African Orphan Educational Foundation, Inc. I absolutely love what they do and what they stand for! I’m so proud that they created Mercy’s Magnificent Dreams and gave it out to the kids in Africa. Keep doing what you’re doing African Orphan Educational Foundation!
African Orphan Educational Foundation focuses its efforts on orphans and vulnerable children living in extreme poverty in Africa. When you uplift and empower those with no voice, hope ignites and spreads like wildfire. It connects and enjoins communities and cultures, and transcends generations.
It's a privilege to support and work alongside an impassioned team that carries educational burdens for Africa's neediest kids.
The commitment to help children succeed in life through education is something I am honored to be a part of. I visited Africa in 2015 and my life was changed in an inspired way. When I met Kathy from this org. and saw her commitment and love for the kids, I felt inspired all over again. Being able to help this incredible organization feels like I wish I could do more. Hoping to go back to Africa one day.
Every child deserves to have an education no matter where they live. AOEF provides this possibility to children who otherwise would miss out. Not only are the children learning classroom lessons, they're also learning to cross cultural boundaries enabling them to grow and prosper by working and learning new skills with others. Join AOEF in sharing this amazing gift of knowledge and help a new generation of children to grow and prosper.
Working with Light Up Hope, AOEF has been a key partner towards enhancing our financial capacity to support our beneficiaries, the most deserving within the communities we serve. Our focus being offering educational support towards alleviation of poverty, the funds received from AOEF have enabled us achieve this. We really thank AOEF for the great support they have accorded to the needy students through us.
It has been my pleasure to work with Kathie Kreh for the last few years on the Steering Committee of the Diversity and Inclusion Council of Lake Park, Florida. Over that time I have been extremely impressed by Ms. Kreh’s commitment and energy toward the cause of the African Orphan Education Foundation. She has used her community contacts to sponsor several orphans and through her activities and videos of the children brought her work in Africa to our hearts and minds.
On one occasion Kathie and I were asked to conduct a community survey of needs for our Council. We appeared, in very hot weather, at an outdoor event which draws over 500 people in a day. I am more reserved and less outgoing than Kathie, but I watched her as she engaged people and asked them to use our QR Code on their phones to compete our survey. She smiled, talked to people and joked with them and soon I followed her lead. On that very hot afternoon we were able to get people to complete 100 surveys. This was more than twice as many as we had been able to complete through emails and direct contact at other events. This would never have happened without Kathie’s drive, enthusiasm and commitment to our cause. This same drive, enthusiasm, and heart appliy to her work with the African orphans. It is an incredible organization and does a great deal of good work under Kathie’s leadership.

I met the Founder of AOEF a few years ago and have been extremely impressed by her dedication to this meaningful organization. I am a member of Artists of Palm Beach County and she approached us when she was planning to put together a story and coloring book for the kids. The book, "Mercy's Magnificent Dreams, if you can SEE It, you can BE IT!" is wonderful. The illustrations are engaging and the story is inspiring. We were so pleased to receive photos of the children enjoying themselves while they filled the pages. I realize the book is only one small effort that the organization has done so I can only imagine all the good that this foundation does.

I continue to be impressed with the impact AOEF is making on youth leaders in African nations. And I am very happy to serve on this amazing Board.
I was invited by Kathie Kreh to serve on the board for AOEF a few months ago. I am beginning to learn more about this wonderful organization and what they do to help educate, develop, and empower disadvantaged young people in several regions of Africa . AOEF offers a fabulous leadership program that helps youth learn valuable leadership and entrepreneurial skills that they actually apply. Very impressed by the organization.

Having recently learned about this Organization, I researched it online and read about its involvement with youth and education in African countries. I am impressed with the quality of its leadership and the depth of its commitment to the underserved children of Africa. As Nelson Mandela encouraged us, education can change the world. This Organization is doing just that .
Meeting Kathie and her awesome personality led me to research the organization. As a child of a teacher who is in her 52nd year of teaching (and still going). I was immediately impressed with the mission of AOEF.
Every child can learn and AOEF certainly is making this possible one child at a time.
I was impressed enough to make a lifetime commitment to support the African Orphans Educational Foundation. Never have I seen independent youth drawn to education so passionately. Young adults in this non-profit are at once genuine, diligent, gracious and passionate about seeking and helping their peers to find their path. Once I began meeting the youth across the miles I knew I found a home where I can serve. Thank you to Kathie Kreh for this amazing endeavor. Sincerely, Dr. Francine Adams
The African Orphan Educational Foundation is an EXCEPTIONAL organization! What they do for children is outstanding! The leadership and Board is so dedicated to improving the lives of children through education that is cannot go unnoticed.
There is nothing like education for a child to grow and see the opportunities that await them.
It is an honor that I can say I am directly and in-directly involved with African Orphan Education Foundation.

Kathie Kreh and African Orphan Educational Foundation are AMAZING! Her focus and determination have made dreams come true for so many. Kathie coordinates a veritable army of devoted volunteers to make learning, hope and progress toward remarkable outcomes a reality for young people in Africa. Kathie is always beaming! It's clear this joyful work sustains her. She has created a beautiful system that transforms orphans into flourishing citizens!
What this Foundation is doing in monumental. Education is desperately needed in Africa. Having an education means that the child/teen/adult will be able to read and write. This is key when searching for employment that will pay enough to support themselves or their family.
We take our education here in the States for granted. These folks want to better themselves. And, through this Foundation, they are getting an opportunity to do just that!
The African Orphan Educational Foundation is a nonprofit that does so much great work in the world. As a believer in the power of education, I believe organizations like AOEF are essential for reaching those for whom an education would typically be out of reach. By providing the power of an education, AOEF is not only strengthening individual lives, but also entire communities, and AOEF's ripples are felt throughout the world. Having known and worked with Kathie Kreh for many years, I know first-hand the passion she has for helping others. I had the privilege of being there when AOEF was just a vision in her heart and mind. And I know, with Kathie at the helm, AOEF will continue to grow and affect positive change for countless lives.
I am so impressed with the work that this foundation is doing, Kathie Kreh is truly an inspiration and is creating a beautiful legacy now and with generations to come!

Everyone involved with this wonderful,
innovative organization are compassionate
in their mission focused on empowering education, providing food and building community for under privileged African children. AOEF ignites hope in their
hearts and cultivates their dreams into reality. Also, AOEF supports U.S. missions and aid agencies that are responsible for managing the operations within the African villages.
AOEF is an amazing organization. Everyone involved is so passionate about the organization's mission. They are a great example of an organization who strives everyday to fulfill their purpose!
AOEF is a fantastic organization doing incredible initiatives to transform the lives of orphans in Africa. Providing dream building, hopes for an impactful future, driven through education. To see the transformation in thinking and to focus orphans on dreaming a better future has been a humbling experience and leaving a legacy of change. This organization is truly making an impactful transformation of the lives of all that are involved in its amazing mission statement.
AOEF is surely a guardian angel to the less privileged in Africa. The journey of picking up the orphans and the less privileged from the dust to another level and finally realesing them into their future and full potential can never be underestimated, adding value to the lives of those that had lost hope. Every single dollar from a compassionate heart can light up a candle in one's world. There is no greater ministry to the world than this. This is what makes a difference in the lives of many. It is what makes me proud being part of this great Organization.
Margret Nalumansi.
AOEF has a vision of changing a child through education and with one educated child you'll change a family and with a family you'll change a community...a country...a world! Not only does AOEF help with daily classroom needs they have a comprehensive plan for the next 10 years. Their dedication to the children goes far beyond pencils and books and incorporates mentors, coaches, and curriculum that will teach and help "level the playing field."
This organization is a great example of what people can do when others are in need. The efforts made on the ground for these African Orphans will pay incredible dividends in the future by allowing the development of skills to improve the quality of life for thousands of people. I am proud to be a participant in this wonderful foundation.

I am so impressed with the work that this place is doing, I wish more people would get involved and help out the organization, the education that the children are getting from them is phenomenal. I am helping by advertising and a collection box at my store.

This is AOEF's gift to Africa and why I am involved" -Eno Okpo
Volunteering with AOEF has given me the opportunity to invest in Africa's future. Seeing the transformation in the lives of their beneficiaries gives me a sense of hope that Africa is rising, that our children have access to the most important opportunity that guarantees their future. Every donation of time, funds and any other resource to AOEF is an investment that builds a preferred future and changes the narrative positively about Africa.
I have had the pleasure and honor of watching the birth of this amazing charity, and knowing the heart of Kathie Kreh, its founder. It has been my honor to sponsor a young man in Kenya, and getting to learn about him and the great impact my seemingly small donation is able to have.
There is no doubt that Kathie Kreh and AOEF have the best interests of the children at the heart of their mission, and they are accomplishing that mission magnificently.
The African Orphan Education Foundation Is an exceptional non profit organization that inspires anyone, who knows of their mission, to care for African
orphans who need a real opportunity for success. The Foundation's goal is to provide the means for African orphans to get a credible education and have the opportunity to step out of crushing poverty into a productive life. I recommend them to you wholeheartedly and encourage you to consider them for your support as well.
Kathie Kreh is a remarkable woman and an inspiration. She founded the African Orphan Educational Foundation to provide resources and education to disadvantaged children who are in greatest need. The importance of her work cannot be overstated: her foundation is helping children in Africa access education, opportunity and advancement to develop into future leaders. As the founder of an educational non-profit myself, I know the vital role education plays in a child's social development and financial success. I encourage those who can to step forward and support this vital lifeline for these precious children.

I look forward to seeing this excellent organization achieve their dreams and visions for the children of Uganda. Already so many helped in its first year of existence, no question AOEF will grow to become an educational light and means of hope for the children of Africa.
As a humanitarian who will soon be an educator in Africa, I applaud AOEF for providing me opportunities to exercise my passions in serving and advocating for disadvantaged youth striving to attain an education in Africa.

I'm a proud sponsor of AOEF, supporting a secondary school student who wants to become a doctor. I appreciate AOEF for caring enough to bring the educational needs of orphans and disadvantaged kids in Africa to the attention of those who might be in a position to help. Rather than recreate the wheel, they work alongside U.S.-based mission and aid agencies who identify the children of greatest need. What a phenomenal operation!

We are fortunate to be able to educate our children in the U.S. Not everybody in the world is as fortunate.
When I first heard Kathie Kreh speak about AOEF with hands-on knowledge, passion and commitment, I wanted to learn more. I had always been interested in Africa as I had a friend who lived in Uganda years ago. I asked a couple of questions and listened intently. A nonprofit benefiting African children starting from the ground up? I wasn't so sure...
It didn't take long before I asked to serve on the Board. With huge potential, children's education at the forefront, a leader who sees around barriers and won't utter the words "it can't be done", AOEF is destined for great things.
This is a unique opportunity for many, either financially or volunteering at some level. With Kathie's leadership and a strong team vested in the vision, the road will surely test us, but it will not win. I envision strong and steady growth in the number of children being educated as well as the number of people getting involved with and supporting this charity.

I am so impressed with the enthusiasm of this organization. Their mission tugs on my heart strings, it wasn't a hard sale. With AOEF I am confident in how my financial support is being used. Why am I confident? They collaborate with U.S. mission and aid agencies that have been operating in these regions for decades. Katy D.
I lived in Africa for ten years, working for the humanitarian sector. I have therefore an important knowledge of which organization will be successful at helping the people in need in Africa. Some think it's all about ensuring a good flow of funds but it is a lot more than that. It requires a complete and complex understanding of the culture, the system, the people, and the realities there. I give you an example. When I lived in Africa I saw many Western organizations funding wells. Everybody was happy, finally the village had water... Pity that 6 months or a year after the closing of the project, the well broke down. Since the non-profit organization had left by then (and the village didn't have any parts to repair the well) the village was left with no water again. I have seen this happening so many times. That's why I cannot emphasize enough the importance of choosing the right organization when wanting to help Africa.
And that's exactly why I decided to get involved with AOEF. It has the perfect understanding of what needs to be put in place to ensure the success of its projects.
Also, AOEF is led by a group of people who are truly devoted to make a difference in Africa by helping orphans getting an education, a meal, a normal life. It's their life mission and it's mine too.
