Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Community & Neighborhood Development, Economic Development
Mission: To provide resources for the devleopment of human potential, spirtual, social and economic growth; thereby, expanding employment, housing and educational opportunities.
Programs: Though the youth employment program, holman community development corporation received 130 applicaitons and successful trained and employed 27 youth with business partners from the community. Additionally, we held a technology & tech workshop series for 10 student participates. Two received internships with a networking company. The job readiness training institute partnered with frederick douglas academy to conduct a 10 hour workshop on sat strategies and interview skills.
