Mission: In April 2019, Danny Buck faced a tragic ordeal of sexual assault while serving in the military. Despite his bravery in sharing his experience, the lack of support and resources led to him taking his life. His story serves as a reminder of the urgent need for change within the military community. In honor of Danny's memory and his mother Betty Buck's promise, the HM2 Buck For Hope Foundation was established to raise awareness about the prevalence of sexual assault within all branches of the military. Our goal is to advocate for justice, support survivors, and end the stigma surrounding mental health struggles and suicide prevention in the military.
