Mission: To promote architecture, design and art in the community through the development
Programs: Community planning + design: we design and implement participatory processes for community and neighborhood planning design and development. We integrate data analysis and technical planning skills with inclusive, interactive community engagement resulting in concrete community benefits. We design maps, activities, graphics, toolkits and other popular education tools to gather and disseminate information, demystify complex processes and inspire action plans for vibrant, equitable communities.
equitable development: we plan and manage community facility development projects for community-based organizations. We provide technical assistance to plan projects, conduct spatial needs assessments, perform zoning and site analyses, identify sites, facilitate property acquisition, assemle financing and manage design and construction while guiding our partners and their stakeholders through a participatory design process.
other programs: we believe that in order to respond to the communities needs, we must be engaged in local advocacy efforts, working side by side with community leaders and grassroots activists.
