Mission: The hellenic american women's council (hawc) is a nonpartisan, nationwide network whose mission is to identify and harness the tremendouse talents of hellenic american women. Hawc encourages awareness of public policy issues and promotes women who wish to play leadership roles in their comunities, the nation and their professional fileds of endeavor.
Programs: Hawc members benefit from a variety of professional, educational and social events, including regional conferences,lectures, debates and seminars by prominent scholars, government officials, and experts on varies issues of interest to its membership. Hawc members also receive the logia newsletter which highlights the accomplishments of members and provides a forum for discussion and sharing of ideas. Other events are wine tasting, books sales to educate and promote greek culture.
