Mission: Empower the people of haiti to build strong, sustainable communities through partnerships with like-minded organizations committed to helping haitians break the bonds of poverty.
Programs: Community development - ensure construction of safe school by finishing construction on a school adding doors, windows, safety bars and applying stucco and paint. 15 men in the community were also employed to do the work.
education - ensure children and adults have access to quality education. Funds were provided to 79 students grades kindergarten through university who otherwise would not have been able to attend school. The students are located throughout haiti but primarily in the ouest region of haiti. The funds provide tuition, books, uniforms, transportation and meals.
community outreach - humanitarian aid to ensure quality of life and health to those in need of shelter, food and a means to produce income for their famiies. Funds were provided to organizations on the ground in haiti to provide food, water, roofing materials, agriculture seeds, trees, goats and chickens to victims in the south who suffered most from the effects of hurricane matthew. Funds were also provided to those in desperate need of housing, food and medical care. Enough food was provided to feed 24 children and 6 adult caretakers for 5 months. Food was provided for six months to feed over 200 students at one school.
