They are focused on rural organizations that have strong community trust, are staffed and managed by locals, and are in the center of the community, but need coaching in order to launch and sustain successful enterprises.
Once accepted into the incubator, participating community based organizations receive a revolving loan to sell a variety of high quality products approved by ENVenture for distribution, such as solar energy, non-electric water filters, improved cookstoves, and fuel briquettes. In addition, ENVenture Fellows are placed with the participating organization to support the process of launching the enterprise, as well as assisting

In retrospect, my two years engagement with ENVenture as made my see a lot of game changing in the grass roots communities, access to clean energy increased, community based organizations sustainability strategies strengthened, rural women empowerment specifically in upcountry of Uganda, and capacities of cbo built.
ENVenture believes in a green, socially inclusive and creative society through its enterprising model for a better Uganda and the world as a whole. It promotes clean energy access in hard to reach areas by partnering with local cooperatives/groups, organizations to create sustainable clean energy enterprises. With existence of these clean energy businesses/enterprises, people in rural areas have access to these clean energy products easily at an affordable rate hence making them to avoid burning trees/wood for charcoal, suffer from indoor pollution and taking unsanitary water. These would otherwise escalate climate change, diseases and death.
My experience working with ENVenture team is amazing! This team is made up of social entrepreneurs, skilled, knowledgeable, and multi-disciplinary committed to promoting clean energy access. The team is not afraid of taking risks while putting their pioneering ideas into practice and personally, I have been inspired by them. The team has been helping me grow my network of opportunities, enhance and develop my skills, knowledge and expertise in the field of development such as community development skills, problem solving skills, business modelling skills, and research among others. Above all contribute to the fight against global warming, climate change and clean energy inaccessibility in Uganda.
ENVenture team has a vision of creating clean energy stores throughout Uganda and having ENVenture model replicated and scaled up elsewhere with similar results.
Your support to ENVenture will be a very wise use of your funds.

ENVenture is doing amazing work empowering women in enterprise in Uganda. I've had the chance to engage with some of the women under their program, and the strides they've made growing their businesses and promoting the adoption of modern technologies and alternative fuels in their communities is inspiring. I look forward to seeing the work ENVenture continues to do in the years to come.

I was attracted to the mission ENVenture is trying to achieve in energy access for the off-grid last mile. Having envisioned a career in energy, I thought ENVenture was the place to be which is why I became one of the Business Development Fellows responsible for providing mentorship to one of its over 60 community based organisations it currently partners with. I have learnt a lot about the need to strengthen the often neglected base of pyramid who have extreme potential for country economic growth.
