Mission: The heart of carolina chapter of tuskegee airmen inc. Is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and knowledge about aviation and aerospace. We collaborate with schools, churches and youth clubs to select students that will most likely benefit form the program. Our mission is to provide guidance, education, and training to young americans so as to help them become outstanding leaders and exemplary citizens of their communities.
Programs: Provided a scholarship to a student at a local community college pursuing a degree in an aerospace related field of study. Met with local original tuskegee airmen. Hosted a scholarship banquet. Met with local school classes to discuss the history of the tuskegee airmen. Created a plan for launching an aviation youth academy at a local community center in early 2013.
